SIMPLICITY DECOR With a rotating inventory reflecting the seasons Simplicity Decor is your one stop shop for creative hostess gifts, unique jewelry, expressive pillows, note cards or coffee table books. Owner A Liengboonlertchai describes the esthetic as "East Meets West Meet Simple". After a career as an attorney 'A' came to the United States to study Theology. After receiving another Bachelor's degree he worked with Crate a Barrel until opening Simplicity in 2006. "I've loved that word and what it stands for since I first began speaking English. To me, simplicity is the key to a happy life. Take for example my name: "A." Or perhaps my brother "B," or my youngest brother "C". There's no doubt my mother knew the art of keeping life simple." Kirkland features numerous public art installations that often stop you in mid-step. Known regional and nationally recognized artists are represented in the City's collection of whimsical, dynamic and poignant art sculptures placed throughout Kirkland's business areas, parks, plazas and waterfront. PURPOSE BOUTIQUE At Purpose Boutique shopping influences more than the buyer. The store's motto is: "How you shop can change a life." Through donations, partnerships with brands that support a variety of causes, and their own dress line crafted by refugee women, Purpose combines a little self-indulgence with a lot of giving back. Look for trendy, yet affordable dresses, jewelry and bags. All crafted with the end result of looking good and helping those in need. What an admirable combination!
