The Pacific Northwest's oldest
running bluegrass festival.
The Darrington Bluegrass Festival started in 1977 and
is going strong, drawing over 7000 people each year.
The Darrington Bluegrass Music Park sits at the foot of
Whitehorse Mountain in the North Cascade Mountains.
It's a bit of a drive, but a beautiful one. Plan to stay
overnight for the Darrington Bluegrass Festival July 20-
22. Camping and food booths available. You'll want to
come back to Darrington August 2-5 for the Summer
Meltdown concerts. Outdoor adventures like rafting and
horseback riding are close by, too.
