Summer brings all kinds of wonderful
to Seattle, including these amazing,
must-do festivals.
SeafoodFest began
in 1974 as a com-
munity celebration
of Ballard's historic connection to the fish-
ing industry and the neighborhood's Nor-
dic roots. Today, this festival attracts over
65,000 people who come to enjoy live mu-
sic, local brewers and more barbecued salm-
on than you can shake a three-pronged stick
at. Enjoy 10 blocks of fun and food in the
Ballard neighborhood that is a historic and
hip little town in Seattle's big city. Admit-
tance is free, and the food (street fare with a
nautical twist) hovers around $10 - $15.
Free entry. Downtown Ballard
