Unsubscribe from all your unwanted notifications at once
with the free service Unroll.Me. It'll show you every email list
you're signed up for and allow you to check off the ones you
don't want to receive anymore. Note that this is a free service
up to 5 unsubscribes, you can obtain more by "sharing" on
your facebook page. Another sort of overload if you ask me,
but hey if it works for you...
Then, as new emails roll in, continue deleting what you don't
need right away and using the 2-minute rule to manage ev-
erything else. Set a daily reminder for yourself to check and
take care of your "to do" folder.

djusting your mind-set may be the hardest, yet
most rewarding option. Emptying out your inbox
religiously is probably a waste of time. Ask yourself
if you are doing it because it makes you feel good
or because it's actually useful. If it's not useful,
maybe you don't need a clean in-box—and maybe
you should stop using that as a barometer of suc-
cess. Give yourself a break and welcome a new year
of organization—on your terms. How refreshing!
