Lake Sammamish State Park is a 510-acre day-use park with 6,858 feet of waterfront on Lake Sammamish. The area around the lake carries cultural significance as a gathering place for at least four Native American tribes. This vast park boasts two lakefront beaches and trails through deciduous forest and wetlands, this park provides a family outdoor experience just off the urban grid. You may even get to share space with one of the great blue herons or bald eagles that nest in the park. Board and Kayak rentals are available at Tibbetts Beach. Bring bikes, walking poles, binoculars and bird books, or bring your GPS unit for geocaching, and explore the light- dappled trails. Let the kids burn off some energy on the brand-new-state-of-the-art playground, while you watch from the sidelines and rest. In addition to free-form fun, Lake Sammamish hosts community events year-round. They include nature, birding and dog walks; stewardship projects; paddling and cycling events; kids' obstacle courses; summer concerts; holiday boat parades; and the annual summer Parkadilly Fair. WildFin American Grill touts its' mantra as "The catch of the Northwest" and they take that very seriously. They continually strive to find and procure products that are sustainable, responsibly grown and harvested and, when available local to the Pacific Northwest. They closely follow the Monterey Bay Aquarium watch list and have recently applied for certification from Smart-Catch. The menu is printed weekly to feature seasonally relevant product selections from a wide list of local suppliers. WildFin also features a wide selection of locally crafted spirits, Washington wines and all of their draft beers are from Northwest Craft Breweries.
