festivities around town, this is the place to do it. The fun at Greenwood kicks off a few hours earlier than most other celebrations. CAPITOL HILL The clubs of Capitol Hill offer parties galore for adults, but there's plenty on for the kiddies too. At Capitol Hill's Hilloween celebration, kids of all ages will get a chance to participate in a costume parade, trick or treat from area merchants lining Broadway Ave. and follow it all up with a pizza party at Pagliacci's where kids donning their favorite costume get a free slice! WEST SEATTLE The West Seattle Admiral District is a great Halloween setting for the entire family. Kids in costumes can be seen for blocks as they line the street and collect their goodies from the area merchants who participate year after year. HONORABLE MENTIONS Ravenna / Bryant Wallingford Loyal Heights MADISON PARK Businesses along East Madison Street in Madison Park will be offering sweets for trick-or-treaters, as they do each year for Halloween. Bring your costumed kids to collect candy from the shops and restaurants along the neighborhood's main drag. There is no official list of participating businesses, but if you come in costume you're likely to receive a treat from any stop along East Madison Street—at both retail stretches near the waterfront and in Madison Valley. That's a lot of treats and little to no tricks! PHINNEY RIDGE Head north to the Phinney Ridge (Phinney Ave./Greenwood Ave.) neighborhood, and you'll find plenty of little ghosts, goblins and other characters enjoying Halloween during this Greenwood celebration.
