Casey A fter three happy months spent on the go in the summer's sun, it's time to head back inside and get cozy for fall. Colder nights and changing colors inspire not only a change of wardrobe, but also of epicurean style. Hearty, creamy, comfort foods dominate this season and tomatoes are in their prime at this time of year. Try our Pappa al Pomodoro (tomato/bread soup)recipe and treat your family and friends to a taste of autumn via spoon. It seems as if the more we get connected through social media and the endless ways technology has bound us together, we are also further apart. Case in point, there was a time in my youth when I sought tricks and treats from my own neighborhood. But apparently times have changed and more and more folks are opting to go for that "easy" sugary reward. The kind of easy that seeks level neighborhoods, shallow driveways and illuminated candy beacons from nearly every home. The easy haul some might say. We'll break it down for you with our annual No Tricks, Just Treats blueprint of local neighborhoods that offer it all—the easy way. But what do you look for in a neighborhood when itching to make a move? Location, location, location—it's true, it does matter. Here we'll share some tips and tricks for what to look for when looking to make a change. Speaking of change—that is what fall is all about. Changing fall foliage can offer a great reason for a weekend road trip. See our guide for the best lookout spots for this seasons falling jewels. And as always market stats give you an insider's view as to what is happening in the real estate market—it's still a seller's market but for how much longer? For deeper analysis contact me for specific comparables for your neighborhood. Word on the street is your home may garner a higher sales price if it can be confirmed that you hand out Halloween candy. Wishing you all the best this fall season.
