L ast year we introduced our first Color Issue to rave success. Readers were intrigued by the quiet neutrals, fearless brights and sophisticated global palettes that were gaining main stream attention. Color offers an immediate, accessible way to express your personal style. Trends change with fashion, so new colors are always coming into home goods and paint lines. Even a minor infusion can change the feel of a room. But while it's easy to apply, color isn't always easy to choose. The right pick for any space depends on light, surfaces and—of course—things you already own. In this, our 2nd annual Color Issue we offer you bold palettes and the essential how-to's to help you pull it off in your own confident way. For the month of April we touch on Earth Day and a wide range of products to assist in living your greenest life. And as the days get warmer you may be tempted to close up that fireplace—but what to do with the empty space? Finds some tips and tricks to styling your unused fireplace in a less messy, more eco-friendly way. From candles to antlers, from books to wood, a plethora of ideas spill from these pages. And finally, as spring closes in, the real estate market like the crocus, comes to life. In House Hunting Prep you'll learn how you can get a jump on the competition and ready yourself for the adventure that awaits as you seek your new abode. Helping Mother Earth, prepping for a change of casa, keeping the home fires burning with style, it's all about Maison and for this issue we focus on living your life in bold, vibrant color. Welcome Spring! Jenn Daniels Remax Integrity & SportStar Relocation Jenn
