Squamish
Located halfway between
downtown Vancouver and Whistler's
high alpine, Squamish is known as
the Outdoor Recreation Capital of
Canada. This is where the ocean
meets the mountains in Sea to Sky
country. It lies at the crossroads
between incomparable outdoor
recreation and unforgettable West
Coast culture. It's where rugged
landscapes and stunning vistas
come together to create memorable
adventures. Activities include hiking,
rock climbing, kite surfing and more.
Alice Lake
Surrounded by towering mountains, dense forests
and grassy areas, there are four fresh water lakes
that dominate the landscape and make swimming
and fishing very enjoyable pastimes. This family-
favorite provincial park with a sandy beach offers
excellent views of the Squamish River and the
Tantalus Range.
Tantalus Lookout
This viewpoint along the
Sea to Sky Highway is one
of the most impressing in
the region. The lookout
allows visitors to get out
of their cars, stretch their
legs and overlook these
beautiful snow-capped
mountains as well as the
valley and river below. An
awe-inspiring sight, this detour is not to be
missed along this scenic roadway as few
stops are allowed along this route.
Brandywine Falls
A spectacular 229 foot
waterfall and park that
provides opportunities
for hiking, picnics and
mountain biking.
