T he Holidays are often a time of long honored tradition, you do what your family did and they in turn did what their families did. People find comfort in the known, in the tried and true, the expected. However, there is something to be said for infusing your holidays with something new, something glimmering with bits of your personality and glimpses of the modern life you live today. This holiday issue delivers idea after idea to spark your imagination from Christmas Style vibes (why not mix it up with a winter white or jewel tone vibe this year?) to our Gifts that Give Back article where you will find gift ideas that when purchased help to better the lives of others. Cindy The goal is simple: to put more joy into your Holiday Season and create the moments where magic happens. Dinners with friends and family, the annual Figgy Pudding Caroling Contest in downtown Seattle, driving around Snowflake Lane in Bellevue all snuggled warm in the car with holiday classics playing softly on the radio. It's the way holidays should be, full of comfort and connection. So, go ahead and incorporate those shiny new happenings into the loved well worn traditions of years gone by. Who knows, you may create a tradition that will live on for generations to come. Wishing you and those you love, peace during all the holidays that make the season bright. Cindy Kelly Windermere
