GET THE DETAILS ON ALL OF THE LAVENDER EVENTS! Learn about Farm Tours Learn about the Sequim Lavender Festival Street Fair Learn more about Community Events during the weekend Tune into KSQM 91.5 on the FM dial throughout the weekend for music, news and weekend updates. WANT TO AVOID THE CROWDS? Lavender blooms for quite awhile and does depend on the weather, but Sequim lavender is usually blooming in early July and into August and even September. At some point the farms begin harvesting, but they always leave some for the view, u-pick, etc. If you are not going during the lavender weekend the week before and the two weeks after are prime times. Many farms are open throughout the week. Farms have different schedules so check ahead if you want to see a particular farm. George Washington Inn, a spacious waterfront bed and breakfast inn, is surrounded by fields of beautiful lavender. This modern replica of Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington, is located between Sequim and Port Angeles in the heart of "America's Provence". Join the fun with hand rung bell concerts, traditional high teas and of course fragrant lavender fields.
