4 ADD ACCENTS Bring in your per- sonality here by adding stones, bark, wood, or a whimsical figurines. 5 TAKE CARE Keep succulents in bright sunlight. Every two weeks or so, use a paintbrush to move sand aside at the plant's base and slowly add mois- ture using a dropper. Closed wet terrariums barely need any care at all, but for ferns in open-top vessels, keep the environment hu- mid but not wet, in bright but indirect light. Mist with water only when the soil looks dry (it's better to underwater than overwa- ter), and prune with garden shears to keep plants healthy. Terrariums offer the opportunity to design a rainforest, desert or whatever your imagina- tion can come up with, all housed in a way that you can, quite literally, have the whole world in your hands. Sit back and enjoy your work! Etsy - more than 63 pages of unique and whimiscal figurines choose from a whimiscal woodland mouse, or vintage barn owls or go retro with a nod to nostalgia and opt for a Yoda figurine, a google search will provide many options here.
