ith the new year comes new beginnings. For me, like
many others, January is a time to look toward the
future and plan the next 12 months. A time to make goals,
organize and clean out items, de-clutter my life and to
visualize and plan improvements for my living space.
The mid-century modern trend has brought about not
only clean lines in furniture and architecture, but an
esthetic of cultivated collections. Keeping and displaying
only those items that enlighten your living space and
really speak to your personal style. It is a struggle to de-
clutter, but when it happens and the items you really love
and cherish are left they are allowed to take center stage
and shine.
This January the energy is not only that of new
beginnings but also of repeat performances - it is an
exciting time to live in Seattle and bare witness to our
home team doing the Emerald City proud - again.
So, here's to new beginnings, an organized and stylish
abode and .....dare I wish .....another Super Bowl title!
