Bar Cart 101 Shaken & Styled There's no denying that bar carts are one of the hottest furnishings around, by now it's safe to say that bar carts are breaking out of the trendy category and becoming something of a furniture staple… so in light of this shift in interiors, we offer you a crash course in styling the perfect bar cart. Purchase a bar cart If you don't have a built-in bar, pick up a cheap bar cart at Ikea, Pier One, even Craigslist or a local antique store. They can be transformed into a fabulous show piece that will stun your guests! Or invest in this classic piece of furniture and go high end. Consider a bar cart on wheels, though it'll likely live in one room in your home, it's nice to be able to move it to a different space when entertaining. A place for everything, and everything in it's place If your bar cart is open, be mindful of organizing it neatly. You don't have to cram every barware item you own onto your cart. You may even want to store your less frequently used items in a pantry, so it doesn't look too cluttered or messy. Accents for color and season Switching up your glassware and other accents is a quick (and affordable!) way to update your bar cart. Keep it flexible and switch out the colors, napkins, glasses and other components for easy entertaining designed for each gathering and/or season.
