W
ith the new year comes new beginnings. For me, like
many others, January is a time to look toward the future
and plan the next 12 months, make goals, organize and
clean out items to de-clutter my life. The mid-century
modern trend has brought about not only clean lines in
furniture and accessories, but an esthetic of cultivated
collections. Keeping and displaying only those items that
enlighten your living space. I love this trend, it is something
that I try to do in my own life - to only keep items that
have meaning or purpose and truly add or compliment
style. Honestly, it is a struggle sometimes to put away all
of the clutter, but when it happens the items left behind
are allowed to take center stage and shine.
This January the energy in the air is not only that of new
beginnings but also of repeat grand performances - it is
an exciting time to live in Seattle and witness our football
team do the Emerald City proud - again.
Here's to new beginnings, an organized and stylish abode
and.... dare I wish.... another Super Bowl title!
