W
ith the summer months in full swing I
always look forward to the exterior elements of
the season. Incorporating an outdoor room to relax and
enjoy the hot days and cooler nights may be just what
you (and I) need! Building and designing these popular
garden rooms does not have to cost a lot, and is fairly
simple if you follow the layering rule. In this issue we'll
take a peek at some of the most beautiful yet basic
outdoor rooms. Offering you inspiration to get out and
design your own.
Of course spring and summer are the bustling time for real estate, and with the
hectic market now cooling off a bit, our market stats show a snippet of the activity
in the area. If you are looking to sell during this time take note that not all buyers
appreciate your four-legged friend, or more specifically, the smell of your four-
legged friend. Learn to get rid of the pet odor, sell your home and keep Fido none
the wiser.
One thing I always look forward to in the summer months are visits from family
out of state, and this year its especially treasured.. Although these visits are often
the highlight of my summer, having house guests can be somewhat anxiety
inducing. A little prep and imagination can help you put together a guest room
that will be both welcoming while taking much of the hostess/host pressure off of
you.
So many ideas, projects and... real estate to think about during these months.
I am looking forward to it all!
