Of course, as gift guides go this one is ex- cellent (if we do say so ourselves) not only because of the high quality of products but the ability to give back. But sometimes, you just want to give and not get anything in return. As gift guides and Black Friday shares start pouring out in the next few weeks, please consider that many families have been devastated by the pandemic this year (on top of the annual number of families who already may need a little assistance) and will not have basic needs let alone funds for gifts this year. We've put together a list of orgs providing both wish lists and basic supplies (many with a virtual option or ship direct). Thank you for anything you can spare for the holidays this year. For Kids Salvation Army Angel Tree St. Jude's Children's Hospital Friends of Foster Kids Toys for Tots For Families Ronald McDonald House One Simple Wish Prison Fellowship for Families of the Incarcerated Donations and Local Local Food Banks Baby 2 Baby Women's Shelters Protect the Earth Mug $40.00 What's more satisfying than a great cup of cof- fee? Turquoise Awali Bracelet $27.00 Her arm candy will do the talking when she wears this turquoise and gold bracelet by Bird & Stone. 10% of the proceeds from this pick go toward em- powering women entrepreneurs in Kenya through their partnership with the Sisi Fund.
