I
f you're like me you have been at home staring at
four walls for months on end, wondering what to
do next—or even just what to do! Like many folks I have
taken on projects that I have been neglecting for years as
my excuse in the past has been "I don't have time". Now,
when it seems that all we have is time, I've tried to make
the most of it and clutter has been at the top of my list. I
know that I always feel so much more organized, so much
lighter in spirit and mind when I am not having to work
my way through piles of receipts and papers to find something. In this
issue, contributor Lisa VanDoorne from Northwest Home Coach will
talk about the negative impacts of clutter, she'll also be giving away
(to one lucky reader) either a remote coaching session to assist you in
getting organized OR an in-person four-hour side by side work session
where she will visit your abode and help you get it together!
Also in this issue we'll talk scams. Rental scams are prevalent
at this time of year —how to best protect yourself and heighten
your awareness by just knowing the scammer's MO—I'll share my
experiences with this. Of course we'll dive into some real estate and
decor as well, with market stats and tips on how to lay out the open
plan concept with furniture that defines space and objectives as well
as the most trendy houseplants of the season.
Get organized, be aware, and plan accordingly. Happy September!
