Y ou may be familiar with this bit of folklore about March: If March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb. Is there any truth to this saying? Whether folklore sayings are as colorful as our imagination. While many sayings are based on careful observations and turn out to be accurate, others are merely rhymes or beliefs of the people who came before us. Much like pet policies that owners employ, their expectations/beliefs may in fact come from past experiences. If you have a dog (or are planning to get a dog) and are looking for a rental, go in with your eyes open. It is in fact, it's harder to find a rental willing to take pets. The specifics of the dog (size, breed, age) will come into play. If you do not have a dog now but are planning to get one, this informative article is for you. In this month's issue we'll explore the latest art craze of the Seattle Selfie Museum. Is it really art? Is it really a museum? Pack a suitcase, charge your phone and head to Pike's Market to see for yourself! Of course we'll touch on spring decor tips as well. It's easier than you might think to bring a few simple elements into your home and welcome the vibrant hues of the season. We'll button it all up with rental and sales market stats in anticipation of the hustle of spring. We can perhaps apply the saying 'In like a Lion, out like a Lamb' to real estate as well. Here's hoping that if your March starts off stormy it will end on a calm note. Nicki Nicki Callahan, Property Manager Windermere Property Management
