A can't miss Seattle experience, especially for gardeners, is the
Washington Park Arboretum. Called "The Arboretum" by locals,
the park's 230 acres are filled with native and unique species laid
out in themes: Pacific Connections, Woodland, Shoreline & Foster
Island, Azalea Way, Rhododendron Glen, and a Japanese Garden.
Equally beloved by locals and tourists, the Arboretum is open
every day dawn to dusk; beware of very limited parking. Free.
