E
ach time this year I get so carried away in the rush
of the season. Presents to buy (and ship on time),
cards (that let's be honest I have not done in 6
years), putting up the decorations, attending end of year
recitals and work parties. I often forget, or don't make the
time, to just sit back and enjoy the season with friends over
a glass of wine in a festive atmosphere or a little holiday
snack while out and about. I need to do that more. This
year I have no excuse, I have researched the most festive
places on the Eastside, in Seattle and even up into Sammamish to just
gather my thoughts, grab a bite and sip a holiday cocktail. In this issue I
share my findings. Maybe I'll see you out and about!
We also touch on the ever popular Farmhouse trend and bringing that
unique aesthetic into your own abode—it's easier and less expensive than
you might think.
Of course we can't forget the reason for the season—apart from religious
beliefs, it is all about giving back and helping those less fortunate. In this
Holiday Issue you'll find 10 charities that kids (and adults) love to give to.
In closing out our year, I wanted to extend a very special thank you to all
tenants and owners for another great year in property management. It's
tough out there to find a home that you truly love and want to come back
to each day. This holiday season I wish you comfort in your home, joy in
your heart and a very happy new year!
