Bolehouse
This charming winery in a converted
home is no stranger to best lists—it's one
of Seattle's best wine bars, and has one
of the city's best patios—and it continues
in that tradition because drinking here
in December feels like going over to a
friend's house for the holidays (only with
a better selection of wine and food). But
mostly because of its spicy mulled wine,
which is made from the owner's personal
recipe, and a favorite with regulars once
the weather gets cold. Take advantage
of the staff cheesemongers who can pair
cheese and charcuterie with whatever
you want to drink. Even if you only get a
baguette with butter and local honey, it's
going to be a good time.
Wdinville Wine Country
Enjoy a weekend of holiday wine tasting
events at the St. Nicholas Day Open House
in Woodinville Wine Country on December
6th - 8th, 2019. A great way to stock up on
wine for your holiday parties or as a gift for
friends and family. Woodinville Wine Country
kicks off the Yuletide festivities with a three-
day weekend of tasting, toasting and cel-
ebrating. Over 30 wineries and tasting rooms
throughout Woodinville will be pouring
their finest offerings and spreading heaps
of holiday cheer. There's no better excuse
for getting together with friends and getting
into the season. Who knows, you may even
discover a new favorite wine just in time for
your holiday parties!
L J's Bistro & Bar
Owned and managed by a brother/sister duo LJ's
is a standout in the Lake Stevens area. Sure, you
might get a few holiday decorations here, but the
draw has been and will be the cocktails. Try the
Vieux Carre, Singapore Sling, Lavender Lemon Drop,
or the Old Fashioned with a rosemary twist. The
bartenders are friendly and know their stuff. De-
cent happy hour too with a VEGAN menu!
