hashtag symbol in a little shop and The Golden Hashtag, my sidekick for all things design and lifestyle, was born. After posing with The Golden Hashtag and my favorite things at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, things took off. We now have "hashy" as she is known, getting me and lots of other fainsty folk at industry trade shows to do all kinds of crazy stuff including our infamous High Point Market Soap Opera vignettes. MAISON: What sets you apart from others in your field? NATALIE: My design work is very client focused which means that I do not portray a particular aesthetic but rather go with what suites the space and need of the client. On Instagram my live videos are known as "Struggle Videos" as I do not film a tutorial but rather a real life trial of the items I am curious about. The biggest compliment I receive from my live video viewers is that I am authentic, real and genuine. This is a big part of my brand. Everything is to do with my Instagram and design is organic even though I am not. MAISON: What is a typical day in the life for you? NATALIE: I am usually up with the sun and off to my favorite workout, Solid Core. From there, nothing is ever the same. My trusty assistant aka "lady sitter" arrives to help whether it's design or social-there is always something. We pick a theme song for the day to keep us motivated. Then it is a live video or catching up on my to do list. For fun I spend time with friends and family. I love gardening, baking and snuggling with my King Charles Cavalier, Scarlett O'Hara. MAISON: Do you have any books, tours, partnerships or Channels that our readers can tune into? NATALIE: I regularly do live videos on Instagram as well as a YouTube Channel. I have subscription content on Patreon that highlights additional content. Currently, I am in the midst of launching a curated shopping site as I have had increased demand from my social followers to purchase the items I post or use in my live videos. During the Spring and Fall High Point Markets, I am usually doing a takeover, tour or some other social promotion with several of the manufacturers. It is always an inspiring time of year.
