Have you noticed decreased activity level? Is he constantly panting? Does he have dark red gums? Is there little to no urine? your pet to a cool area, use a towel or hose to wet their fur and sit them in front of a fan. In extreme cases - if your pup is very weak or has dark gums - seek immediate help from a vet. DO Mist your pet with a spray bottle. Have water nearby and replenish it often. Ensure your pet has access to shade or can come inside. Does she seem significantly weaker than normal? Has she lost consciousness? Is she vomiting or having diarrhea? Is she breathing really fast? Preventing overheating DON ' T Leave your pet in your car. On a hot day it only takes 20 minutes for a car's interior to rise to a dangerous life threatening temperature. Go for walks in midday heat.
