and original paintings. However I also am beginning to open my doors to partnerships with other brands. I have a line of face masks with Blackstrap Inc and backpacks with Free Range Equipment. What sets you apart from others in your field? Other than the one college art course I took in college, I am a completely self taught artist. My art career began because I hit a rock bottom (my mountain biking accident). I believe that when we go through hard times in life, they help us discover hidden talents and secrets about ourselves that we never knew before. I hope that by sharing my story and art with the world, I can help others going through hard times stay positive and reach for their dreams—even when they seem out of reach! What is a typical day in the life for you? Everyday in my career is different—that's why I love it so much! I am so lucky to travel and go on trips for artistic inspiration. However, on a typical 'work day,' I wake up, drink some tea or coffee, and practice at least 20 minutes of yoga to get my blood flowing. Then, I usually spend the better part of the morning on the computer: answering emails, dealing with logistics of my business, etc. I spend the second half of the day working on creating—either conceptualizing a painting or actually painting. In the evening I will go for some sort of outdoor activity: run, bike, or a surf if I am lucky. I absolutely love cooking, so if I have time, I spend time cooking dinner. If I am staying in my van and traveling on the road (which I currently do about 50% of the time), I most likely spend more of the day collecting content for social media, enjoying being in nature, cooking, or surfing. I try to minimize screen time during my travel, but if I need to find WiFi I go to a coffee shop!
