A
t this time each year I am inspired to do more, do
better, be better. New years beginnings do that to
a person don't they? It is the same thing every year.
Then it is always a disappointment by about January
15th when I have not lost that 40 pounds, when I have
not gotten that garage cleaned out (with stuff from
15 years ago) and when I have not gone 100% vegan.
So this year, I will set my goals, I will solidify my
objectives but then I will just breathe, knowing that I
am doing my best to be a good person, a good mom, a
good pet mom. Doing your best, that should be every goal of every day.
That is my new year's resolution.
On that note, this issue is about just that—it is not about saving money
for a house, it is about making sure you have renter's insurance—being
prepared for where you are currently. It is about seeing the
possibilities in the current realities and being grateful for the journey. It
is the journey—not the destination. I have heard it said many times, but
finally at this stage of life I begin to see the meaning.
Here's to new year's beginnings and to the 365 new days giving us 365
new chances.
Happy 2019!
