heart health and even lower rates of cancer. Sure, staying away
from bacon and steak can be a struggle, but if you choose to try
you aren't alone. October 1st is World Vegetarian Day, kick-starting
Vegetarian Awareness Month. Observed annually World Vegetarian
Day was established by the North American Vegetarian Society in
1977, "To promote the joy, compassion and life enhancing possibilities
of vegetarianism." With a quick glance at some of Seattle's amazing
vegan and vegetarian restaurants curbing the cutlet cravings might
not be as difficult as you think.
